Idealist 2018 “Transnational Cooperation Among ICT NCPs” project was launched
In January 2015 the new project Idealist 2018 "Transnational Cooperation Among ICT NCPs” was launched. Idealist2018 kicked-off on 28-29 January in Tel-Aviv, Israel, with about 85 project participants from 75 countries (MS/AC and Third Countries); some countries have appointed more than 1 NCP organisation for the ICT field. Director of R.I.T.A., NCP ICT in Azerbaijan Dr. Tofig Babayev participated in this kick-off meeting of Idealist2018.
The Idealist2018 proposal will ensure European-wide high-quality proposer-oriented NCP services by increasing the visibility of NCPs, improving the overall quality of NCP services and leveraging the national NCP structures. This will be done through the adoption of collective activities and tools in a common platform across Europe fined tuned for cultural differences in the area of LEIT ICT. Close liaisons with the other ICT-related topics in H2020 will ensure inclusion of the entire ICT research landscape.
The first and overall objective of Idealist is to reinforce the ICT NCP network by promoting trans-national cooperation. It will be achieved by the technical work packages activities that together ensure a systematic improvement in coordination among NCPs, promote deeper cooperation and strengthen the benefits of belonging to a larger European network with all its synergies for better proposer services.
