A project in the direction of the 7th Framework Programme has been prepared and submitted

With the tutorial and consulting assistance of R.I.T.A, ‘Strengthening of scientific relations between the Cybernetics Institute of ANAS and the EU Scientific and Research Space’ project in the direction of the 7th Framework Programme of the Scientific and Research and Technological Development (FP7-INCO-2011-6.1, ERA WIDE). has been prepared and submitted. The project proposal has been prepared together with the following scientific research organizations: Institute Fresnel (Universite Paul Cezanne, France), Universitat de Barcelona (Spain), Politechnika Slaska (Poland), Dokuz Eylul University (Turkey) and Innoveo Consulting S.a r.l (Luxemburg). The project passed the first stage of commission.

Participation in the education conference on 7-9 September, 2011 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Director of R.I.T.A., NCP ICT Azerbaijan Tofig Babayev took part in the education conference on the subjects ‘ICT for management of risks of failures’ and ‘ICT and climatic changeability’ organized by the UN Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development on 7-9 September, 2011 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Cooperation between the Central Asia Scientific Research Institute of Geology and the Cybernetics Institute was discussed at the conference.

Moscow conference within the framework of the EU ‘Istok Soyuz’ project on 7 June, 2011

T. Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., NCP ICT Azerbaijan, spoke at the ‘Technologies of information society are the direct way to knowledge for the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia’ conference within the framework of the EU ‘Istok Soyuz’ project, which was held at the EU Representative Office in Russia in Moscow on 7 June, 2011. T. Babayev demonstrated a presentation, giving detailed information on the priority trends of development of scientific research work in ICT in Azerbaijan for the period from 2010 to 2015.
