Third Eastern Partnership Ministerial Meeting on the Digital Economy took place in Bucharest, Romania, on 28 February 2019. The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Elmir Velizadeh, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and also included:

Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., HDM contact person in Azerbaijan, Legal & Financial NCP of Horizon 2020, was elected a member of the Supervisory Board of the State Fund for Information Technology Development under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
4th Panel On Harmonisation Of Digital Markets (4th HDM Panel), Platform 2 “Economic Development and Market Opportunities”, took place in Brussels, Belgium, on 7 February 2019.
Another educational seminar on the participation in the European Commission's Horizon2020 program organized by the International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS took place on 1 February 2019.
On 29 January 2019, Deputy Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Academician Y.H. Mamedaliyev, Doctor of Engineering Tarana Mammadova and Nadira Hasankhanova, researcher of the Institute, participated in the meeting at the R.I.T.A. to familiarize themselves with the possibilities of participation of Azerbaijani scientists in the EC Research and Innovation Framework Program HORIZON2020.
An educational seminar on the participation in the European Commission's Horizon2020 program was held by the International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS. Opening the seminar, Head of the Department Esmira Alirzayeva, PhD in Biology, informed the participants about the agenda of the event.
Director of R.I.T.A T. Babayev has been elected a member of the program committee of the Information and Communication Technologies Congress (ICTC) (13-15 December 2018) organized by the Academic Information Research Association of Turkey (https://abilar.org/ictc/).
