3rd EaP Panel on Harmonisation of Digital Markets took place in Brussels on 19-20 September. It aimed to present and discuss HDM work progress since October 2016 and plans for 2018 in preparation for the 2nd EaP Ministerial meeting on the Digital Economy, to be held on 5 October 2017, in Tallinn, Estonia.

3rd Workshop of the EU4Digital: eTrade Network, one of the regional networks created within the HDM Initiative between EU and EaP countries, took place in Odessa, Ukraine on 14-15 September.

The main goal of this workshop was to: a) present and approve the results of the eTrade/eLogistics study, including the gap analysis and experts recommendations for eTrade/eLogistics platforms development in the partner countries and with the EU, as well as to b) plan and coordinate further project actions and HDM pilots to be proposed for inclusion in the updated action plan 2017-2020 of the eTrade Network.

A meeting on eTrade, e-logistics and Digital Transport Corridors topics of the HDM (Harmonising Digital Markets) Initiative within the framework of the EC Easter Partnership programme took place in Kyiv, Ukraine, on 7 March 2017.

At the meeting, T. Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., FET& ICT NCP HORIZON2020 in Azerbaijan was selected the study expert for eTrade, e-logistics and Digital Transport Corridors topics in Azerbaijan based on EC agreement.

On 23-25 June 2017, Baku hosted Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan for the first time.
For three days, the streets of our capital turned into a vast space of sparkling celebration of sports and culture.

The 2nd EU4Digital: eTrade Workshop of the 2nd Panel on Harmonisation of Digital Markets (2nd HDM Panel) of the Eastern Partnership Platform 2: "Economic Integration and Convergence with EU Policies” took place in Minsk, Belarus on 6-7 June 2017.

Tofig Babayev, Director of RITA, ICT&FET NCP HORIZON 2020 and HDM contact person in Azerbaijan, participated in "Addressing Impact in H2020 Proposals" IDEALIST Workshop, Sophia on 5-6th April 2017.
