EU4Digital: e-Health workshop held in Tbilisi within the framework of HDM Initiative

ICT&FET NCP HORIZON 2020 and HDM contact person in Azerbaijan,
and
Emin Ismayilov, Head of Monitoring and Training Department at the
Health Informatization Center of the Ministry of Health, participated
in the EU4Digital: e-Health workshop held in Tbilisi, Georgia, on
20-21 February 2017. Representatives of six countries made their
reports on the eHealth status in the Eastern Partnership countries.
On
20 February 2017, Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A.,
ICT&FET NCP HORIZON 2020 and HDM contact person in Azerbaijan,
took part in the two days’ EU TEMPUS project conference devoted
to modern educational technologies in Tbilisi,
Georgia, and
made a presentation on the HDM Initiative (Harmonising Digital
Markets) of the EU and Eastern Partnership countries.
Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A. and ICT&FET NCP HORIZON 2020 and
HDM contact person in Azerbaijan, and Anar Suleymanov, deputy head of
department at the State Customs Committee, represented Azerbaijan at the
1st EU4Digital: eTrade Workshop in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 15-16
December 2016. It was the first workshop of the future EaP network on
eTrade suggested at the 2nd Panel on Harmonisation of Digital Markets.
EU4Digital network will act as a forum for promotion and development of
interoperable electronic trade services and processes among the partners
and with the EU, comprising with HDM topics "eCommerce for SME’s”,
"eCustoms” and "eLogistics & digital transport corridors”.
On December 2,2016 Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) hosted National
Erasmus+ Information Day for the first time. It was held jointly with
National Erasmus+ Office in Azerbaijan for representatives of
Azerbaijani higher educational institutions. Representatives of the
Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic, State Oil Company of
the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), British Council in Azerbaijan,
Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Azerbaijan and a number of
other diplomatic missions in the country also attended the event. Senior
officials, teachers and representatives of youth student organizations
from leading universities of Baku, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,
Sumgayit, Lenkeran and Mingechevir participated in the Information Day.
