Director of R.I.T.A. participated in the 6th Georgian-Polish International Scientific Conference Transport Bridge Europe-Asia
On September 25-28, 2022, Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., Digital, Industry and Space NCP of Horizon Europe, Head of e-Commerce working group, participated in the 6th Georgian-Polish International Scientific Conference Transport Bridge Europe-Asia in Tbilisi, Georgia.
On September 27, at the 1st session of the conference Tofig Babayev made presentations “MODERN APPROACHES TO DIGITALIZATION OF TRANSPORT CORRIDORS BETWEEN EUROPE AND ASIA” (Ali Abbasov, Tofig Babayev, Azer Aliyev) and "RESEARCH AND INNOVATION IN TRANSPORT IN THE EU FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME HORIZON EUROPE" (Tofig Babayev, Khalida Melikova).
A round table of scientists from Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan devoted to the creation of consortium for developing projects of the East-West transport corridor was held on September 27.
First, four project ideas were considered.
1. Improving efficiency of railroad equipment management
2. Improvement of operational and environmental performance of wheels and brakes of railroad vehicles
3. Development of railroad transport infrastructure for a unified transport corridor between Asia and Europe.
4. "Development of the road map for the digitization of railroad transport corridors in CAREC countries".
