A webinar on "Participation in the COST program" was held at the Institute of Control Systems
A webinar on the EU project of European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) was held at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS on 4 March 2021. The webinar was attended by the heads of the institute's laboratories, researchers, Master's students and others.
Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., Head of the Foreign Relations and Innovation Department of the Institute, opened the webinar with an introductory speech and provided general information about the EU framework programs and the COST program. Ilham Humbatov, National Coordinator for the European Research Council of the Horizon 2020 Program, Head of the Accreditation and Licensing Department of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, made a presentation on the COST program. I. Humbatov informed the participants in detail about the creation of new opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijani and EU scientists within the framework of the COST program. Then I. Humbatov answered numerous questions from the participants.
Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, Executive Director of the Institute, noted the importance of the participation of Azerbaijani scientists in EU projects and made his recommendations.
