Another Horizon 2020 informational webinar was held
The webinar was attended by the professors, teachers and young specialists of the Nakhchivan branch of ANAS, Nakhchivan State University, Nakhchivan Pedagogical Institute and Nakhchivan University.
At the webinar, Esmira Alirzayeva, PhD in Biology, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS, presented a report on the topic "Horizon 2020: current state and prospects", Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., Legal & Financial NCP of HORIZON 2020, eTrade expert in the EU4Digital project - "Opportunities for participation in European research projects for researchers from different countries" and "Scholarship program named after Maria Sklodowska-Curie", Ilham Humbatov, NCP for the European Research Center and COST, Head of Science Department of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Azerbaijan - " Opportunities for Azerbaijani Scientists within the COST and ERC ”.
The reports “Horizon 2020: Opportunities for Health, Welfare and Social Development”, “Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry, Marine and Inland Waters Research and Challenges in Bioeconomy” were also presented.
As part of the event, discussions were held regarding the registration of research and educational institutions and scientists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the Horizon 2020 portal, as well as the training of local specialists-coordinators for this program.
