Participation in the Briefing Session & Tutoring Session for Modules 1 and 2 of the “Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders on 6-7 February, 2012 in Baku

Participation in the Briefing Session & Tutoring Session for Modules 1 and 2 of the “Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders on 6-7 February, 2012 in Baku Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., NCP ICT Azerbaijan, participated in the Briefing Session & Tutoring Session for Modules 1 and 2 of the "Academy of ICT Essentials for Government Leaders” co-organized by UN-APCICT/ESCAP (the United Nations Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development/ Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) along with the Civil Service Commission under the President of Azerbaijan and held on 6-7 February, 2012 in Baku. Dr. Babayev gave presentations on Module 9 (Disaster Risk Management) and Module 10 (ICT and Climate Change) at the briefing session on 6 February. Station of robust noise monitoring of anomalous seismic processes (RNM ASP station) developed at the Cybernetics Institute of ANAS for determination of time of anomalous seismic processes preceding earthquakes was given as an example of application of ICT in Disaster Risk Management.
