AIEX MultiCountry Workshop on ICT innovation and start-up ecosystems took place at Hotel Excelsior in Baku on 6-7 December 2017. The workshop was organized by the European Commission’s DG Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations. The workshop was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Belgium and Spain. The participants discussed the results of the survey on the state of ICT innovation and start-up ecosystems of the Eastern Partnership countries. The action plan for 2018 was approved and the main goals for 2020 were determined. Tofig Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., EU4Digital: eTrade Network expert, FET& ICT NCP HORIZON2020 and HDM contact person in Azerbaijan , also took part in the workshop as part of the Azerbaijani representation.
