A HORIZON 2020 seminar was held at BSU
An educational seminar on HORIZON 2020, the EU Research and Innovation Program, was held at Baku State University (BSU) on 20 December 2019. Vice Rector for Science and Innovation of BSU Corresponding Member of ANAS Aydin Kazimzade emphasized the importance of the HORIZON 2020 program for Azerbaijani scientists and specialists.
Esmira Alirzayeva, Head of the International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS, spoke about the innovations of the EC Framework Program Horizon Europe for the Eastern Partnership countries. Further, NCPs Rovshan Keremov, Ilham Gumbatov, Zaur Hasanov, Yashar Omarov, Rahima Gabulova and Tofig Babayev (director of R.I.T.A. , Legal & Financial NCP, eTrade expert in the EU4Digital project), provided detailed information on the HORIZON 2020 program and answered the participants' questions. The information on the HORIZON 2020 program, COST Action project, Maria Skłodowska-Curie scholarship program, project writing and evaluation criteria and calls in the field of medicine was presented at the seminar.
The seminar was attended by the faculty, deans and heads of departments of BSU.
