ICT 2015 Conference - Lisbon- 20-22 October 2015 The Azerbaijani delegation (Director of R.I.T.A. Dr. Tofig Babayev, Elkhan Sabziyev, IT expert, Kiber Ltd, Gulchin Abdullayeva, head of laboratory, Institute of Control Systems, Sevinj Babayeva, senior specialist of R.I.T.A.) participated in the ICT 2015 Conference on 19-22 October 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal. 

ICT 2015 Conference organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology in cooperation with Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, is specifically dedicated to networking and promoting research and innovation in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. The event presented the European Commission's policies and initiatives in the ICT field, with a focus on the new Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-17, including ICT calls across all three pillars of Horizon 2020. It offered an exceptional occasion to build quality partnerships as it will connect academia, research institutes, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe.

Dr. T. Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., ICT NCP&FET  Azerbaijan took part in two trainings in Brussels, Belgium Dr. T. Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., ICT NCP&FET Azerbaijan took part in two trainings in Brussels, Belgium:

a) IDEALIST Training on Pre-proposal check held on 5 October, 2015
During the training,participants shared their experiences in preparation of proposals and NCP activities and made presentations and discussion inquiries on HORIZON 2020 Workprogramme. 

b) H2020-ICT/FET National Contact Points Training on H2020 Workprogramme 2016-17 held on 6-7 October, 2015
This workshop explained the main goals and options of FET workprogramme, ICT in Research Infrastructure and Societal Challenges, ICT LEIT Workprogramme.
The trainings were useful for consulting Azerbaijani researchers in the issues of grant agreements for Horizon2020 in 2016-2017.
