Dr. Babayev also visited High Tech Park in Minsk Dr. Babayev also visited High Tech Park in Minsk on 24 April 24, 2015. Dr. Babayev acquainted himself with the prototype robotic system developed by "Intelligent Processors» LLC (Minsk) group led by Professor M. Tatur. The mobile robot uses the concept of multi-level governance and the product is positioned as a multi-robotic system for use in environments that pose a risk to the health and life of the driver and staff, for example, in emergency situations - in the liquidation of the threat of explosion, poisoning, in fire-fighting; in agriculture - for spraying pesticides, etc.
Following the MOU on scientific and technical cooperation OOO "Intelligent Processors» LLC (Minsk) and R.I.T.A. signed in 2014, the preparation of an international project to create a prototype multi-robotic system with participation of Azerbaijani companies was discussed.

Training “Fundamentals of Technology Transfer” at the Azerbaijan Technical University Training "Fundamentals of Technology Transfer” was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University on 13 April 2015 for 20 participants from various regions of Azerbaijan.
Dr. T. Babayev, Director of R.I.T.A., ICT NCP Azerbaijan made a presentation on Horizon2020 at the training. In the first part of the presentation, information was given on the history and aims of EU framework programs from 1984 to the present. The second part of the presentation was devoted to detailed information on Horizon2020, its structure, main areas and topics. The third part dealt with the participation in the program: search and selection of subjects, preparation of project proposals, evaluation of submitted project proposals, etc. During the discussion that followed the presentation, Dr. Babayev answered the interested participants' numerous questions on the programme.

EECA Cluster 1st Review Meeting of EAST-HORIZON/ EECA-2-HORIZON was held in Minsk on 11-13 March 2015. Representatives of 14 countries took part in the meeting. Azerbaijan was represented by NCP ICT Director of R.I.T.A. Dr. T. Babayev and senior specialist S. Babayeva. At the review meeting, the most significant events held within two projects in the first period were reviewed and the work plan for the second year was discussed.

Idealist 2018 “Transnational Cooperation Among ICT NCPs” project was launched In January 2015 the new project Idealist 2018 "Transnational Cooperation Among ICT NCPs” was launched. Idealist2018 kicked-off on 28-29 January in Tel-Aviv, Israel, with about 85 project participants from 75 countries (MS/AC and Third Countries); some countries have appointed more than 1 NCP organisation for the ICT field. Director of R.I.T.A., NCP ICT in Azerbaijan Dr. Tofig Babayev participated in this kick-off meeting of Idealist2018.

ICT NCP Trainings in Amsterdam

ICT NCP Trainings in Amsterdam Two trainings for ICT NCP Horizon2020 within EC project IDEALIST2014 were held on 10-11 December 2014 in Amsterdam, Netherlands:

a) Fast Track to Innovation
Fast Track to Innovation is a new, bottom-up driven logic testing a new approach for giving the development of innovations the last push needed before their introduction to the market. It is the only fully bottom-up measure in Horizon 2020 promoting close-to-market innovation activities for all types of participants. This workshop is aimed at more detailed in-sight into Fast Track to Innovation issues and analysis of the results for SME Instrument first call.

b) Consortium Agreements for Horizon 2020
This workshop explained the main features and options for consortium agreements for collaborative projects in Horizon 2020 (H2020). It will compare the DESCA, Digital Europe and EUCAR model consortium agreements and will cover the major terms of the EC grant agreement, which provides the context. The workshop was aimed at those negotiating consortium agreements: research managers, advisors and contracts staff. It is normally limited to 24 participants, to allow high levels of interaction and plenty of time for questions.
Director of R.I.T.A. Dr. Babayev participated in the trainings, which were useful for consulting Azerbaijani researchers in the issues of grant agreements for Horizon2020 in 2015.
