A meeting devoted to the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 was held at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS on 23 January 2020. Professor Misir Mardanov, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Director of the Institute; Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering, Legal & Financial NCP of HORIZON 2020, Director of RİTA , eTrade expert in the EU4Digital project; Zaur Hasanov, PhD in History, Head of the Department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, Maria Skłodowska-Curie Actions NCP of HORIZON 2020; Rovshan Kerimov, Climate action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials NCP of HORIZON 2020, leading researcher of the Institute of Geography of ANAS; Ilgar Mammadov, Doctor of Mathematics, Head of the Laboratory of Mathematical control problems of the Institute of Control Systems; Sabina Jafarova, doctoral student at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics participated in the meeting.
During the discussions, an exchange of views was held on the ways to ensure active participation of ANAS employees in Horizon 2020 program. As a result, it was recommended to create a working group at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS with this purpose.
