R.I.T.A. employer participated in the Formula 1 volunteer program
On
23-25 June 2017, Baku hosted Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan for
the first time.
For three days, the streets of our capital turned into a vast space of sparkling celebration of sports and culture.
From the start to the end of the recruiting period (from 01 February 2017 to 01 June 2017), more than 10 000 people submitted their applications to the organizers of the Grand Prix, wishing to take part in volunteer activities. The registered applicants were interviewed at the Volunteer Center. The applicants that successfully passed their interviews took special seminars and trainings to prepare for the competition. Thus, 5000 volunteers were selected and employer of R.I.T.A. Sevinj Babayeva was among them.
Sevinj Babayeva was offered a place among Marshals Scrutineering, the group are responsible for checking all cars each day, as well as for examining any car involved in accidents for safety and eligibility.
Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan was organized at government level, which stressed the status of the project and its significance for the country.
Azerbaijan proved once again that it is capable of hosting large-scale international projects at the top level!
