Director of RITA with a group of delegates of ANAS was on a scientific trip to Kiev within “Horizon-2020”
On March 15-16, 2016, within EU IncoNet Eap Project, Ukrainian Ministry of Science and Education has organized meeting of national coordinators of "Horizon-2020” Program and practical probations for members of Working group by participation of international specialists engaged in energy, climate change, health care and other areas.
At the conference were attended director of RITA, head of International relations and innovation department of the Institute of Control Systems PhD in engineering Tofig Babayev, leading research officer of the Institute of Control Systems Elkhan Sabziyevdeputy head of International Relations Department of ANAS Presidium Administration, national coordinator of "Horizon-2020” Program on Azerbaijan Zarifa Aliyeva, lab chief of the Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS Islam Mustafayev, , leading specialist of the Institute of Geography PhD in geography Rovhsen Karimov, leading specialist of the Institute of Physics Elchin Jafarov and chief department of Gafgaz University Zafar Hasanov.
Director of the Center for Regional and International Studies and "Horizon 2020" research project of the 7th Framework Programme Coordinator Dr. George Bonas, the European Commission’s Directorate of Research and Innovation, General for International Cooperation Thierry Devar and other well-known experts attended the event as well.
Event scheduled the issues such as writing rules of the projects, working principles of national coordinators over different fields in 5 directions – energy, climate changes, environment, and transport protection, distribution of funding on projects etc. It was noted that, IncoNet Eap Project would be completed in August current year.
During parallel sessions, T. Babayev and E. Sabziyev gave information about new and innovative projects of the Institute of Control Systems and discussed establishing a consortium within the framework of the HORIZON 2020 Work Programme.
