Another educational seminar on Horizon 2020 program took place
Another educational seminar on the European Commission's Horizon2020 program organized by the International Relations Department of the Presidium of ANAS took place.
The seminar was attended by young scientists, responsible international relations persons, employees of other scientific and educational institutions of Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of government agencies.
Opening the seminar, Head of the International Relations Department Assoc. Prof. Esmira Alirzaeva, Ph.D. in Biology, informed the participants about the participation of Azerbaijani scientists in this program in 2014-2019, about its issues problems and prospects. She invited the scientists to take advantage of the program’s wide opportunities, expand international cooperation and establish contacts with foreign colleagues and scientific networks.
Then the members of the Horizon 2020 program NCP Network informed the participants of the seminar about current opportunities and calls in various aspects of the project.
Director of R.I.T.A., Legal & Financial NCP of the Horizon 2020, EU4Digital eTrade expert Tofig Babayev brought the participants’ attention to face-to-face meetings and their importance in building scientific cooperation and encouraged participants to take advantage of these opportunities. The seminar was also attended by Elkhan Sabziyev and Anar Rahimov, the leading researchers of ICS.
At the end, there was an extensive discussion of the presentations and a Q&A session.
